Krima Mercator’s handball players remain undefeated after the fourth round of the elite EHF Champions League! This time they won 25:23 against Storhamar from Norway in Stožice. There are no words to add to the excellent start to this season.
Three wins in a row! The last one was achieved on Saturday, 21 September, by the handball players of Krim Mercator in a tough away game against the Romanian team CS Gloria 2018 BN. If the game was even for the most part, the Tigresses showed their teeth when it was needed the most – in the very end. With a final score of 35:30, the Tigersses earned two more points and remain at full strength after three rounds played this season!
The handball players of Krim Mercator entered the 30th consecutive EHF Champions League season the way they wanted – with a win. The team showed the strength of its long bench on the road in Koprivnica, Croatia. As many as ten players were among the Tigresses’ scorers, for a final score of 24:23 and the first two points in the 2024/2025 season.
This year, the Krim Mercator Handball Club celebrates its 40th anniversary, which is a proud moment for the club, its former and current players, professional management, fans and sponsors. A moment that was celebrated on Wednesday, 28 August 2024, at a wonderful event in Ljubljana’s Centrum Rog.

Krim Mercator will add a new right wing in the 2024/25 season. Only 17-year-old Austrian Philomena Egger has pledged her allegiance to the Ljubljana club until 2027.
HC Krim Mercator is strengthening its ranks ahead of the start of the 2024/25 season. Head coach Dragan Adžić will be able to count on Hawa N’Diaye, a new reinforcement at the pivot position, who has pledged her allegiance to the Ljubljana club until 2026, for the 30th consecutive season of the Krim family in the elite EHF Champions League.
Amra Pandžić, an experienced goalkeeper and a regular member of the Slovenian national team, is returning to Ljubljana after playing abroad for several years. She started her rich handball career in the Krim family and now she will rejoin the Tigresses and contribute to the success of Adžić’s team next season.
Krim Mercator will enter the new season stronger at left wing. Adžić’s team will be strengthened by Swiss-born Spanish international Jennifer Gutiérrez Bermejo, who is moving to Ljubljana from Romanian side CSM Bucuresti.
The handball players of Krim Mercator had already theoretically secured the title of national champions a few days ago. More precisely, on Sunday, 28 April, on the road in Ajdovščina. But they had to wait until the end for the trophy. Until the last game. Until Wednesday, 15 May, when they celebrated their 29th national championship title in the club’s history in Stožice.
On Sunday, 24 March 2024, the players of Krim Mercator concluded their season among the European handball elite. With a 30:24 defeat against CSM Bucuresti, they finished the competition in the EHF Champions League Play-Off.
