Young Philomena Egger moves from Austria to Krim

Krim Mercator will add a new right wing in the 2024/25 season. Only 17-year-old Austrian Philomena Egger has pledged her allegiance to the Ljubljana club until 2027.

Last season, the young Austrian handball player defended the colours of the Austrian club Hypo Niederösterreich, with whom she played in the EHF Europa League.

In addition to her club career, Egger has already impressed on the international stage. In 2023, she scored 41 goals in six games at the European Under-17 Championship in Turkey. Her outstanding performances also earned her a chance to play for the national team, with whom she competed at the EHF Cup this year.

The young Austrian handball hopeful, who has signed a three-year contract, is sure to bring fresh energy and talent to the Krim family.
