The 29-year-old Swiss-born Spanish started her professional handball experience in her native Elche, when she was a teenager, scoring 17 goals in the European Cup. In 2014, her path took her a little further south-west in the Iberian Peninsula, more specifically to Málaga, before moving north again in 2017/18. With Mecalia Atlético Guardés, she got her first taste of the pressure of the big stage. She played in the qualifiers for the elite EHF Champions League and scored five goals in two games against Austrian Hypo Niederösterreich.
Jenni’s year in Guardo was a turning point for her as she went abroad for the first time after finishing second in the Spanish National Championships. First to Germany to Borussia Dortmund, where she was one of the top scorers in European handball 59 times in two seasons, and later to Romania.
In the 2022/23 season she wore the jersey of Rapid Bucuresti, and last season CSM Bucuresti, the current Romanian national champions, who also defeated Krim Mercater in the play-off of the last EHF Champions League.
A regular member of the Spanish national team in recent years will move to the Krim family – and join forces on the left wing with Tamara Mavsar – from the Romanian capital together with Grace Zaadi Deuna, who will also strengthen Dragan Adžić‘s squad next season.
