Krim Mercator’s handball players entered the second part of the group stage of this year’s EHF Champions League with a defeat. On Sunday, October 23, Krim Mercator’s handball players recorded their first home victory in this season of the EHF Champions League in the match of the week selected by the European Handball Federation. With a final score of 24:22, they beat French Brest in front of loud home fans. The great credit for the new two European points goes to Barbara Arenhart, the most useful player of the match, who saved as many as 20 shots of her rivals.

In the fifth round of the EHF Champions League, the handball players of Krim Mercator visited the Bietigheim team, which is still undefeated this season. Even the tigresses, for whom a few dark minutes in the second part of the meeting were fatal, had to admit their superiority. The best scorer of the Ljubljana team this time was Daria Dmitrieva with six goals, and with eight saves, Barbara Arenhart also caused some headaches for the Germans in goal.

The handball players of Krim Mercator failed to defend the Tivoli parquet against the Ferencvaros team this time. In the fourth round of the EHF Champions League, Hungary were better with 32:30. The best scorer of the home team was Jovanka Radičević with nine goals. The Montenegrin star in the gray and blue jersey will definitely remember the match despite the outcome. As the second handball player in the history of the most elite European club competition, she exceeded the mark of 1,000 scored goals.

In the most successful match in the history of the Ljubljana club, Krim Mercator’s handball players achieved a convincing victory over the DHK Banik Most team. The Czechs won with a final score of 42:29 and thus got the first pair of points in the 28th consecutive season among the European elite. This time an excellent team performance should be highlighted. As many as 12 tigresses scored at least one goal.

Before the handball players of Krim Mercator is the third European test this season. This time they are going to the Czech Republic, where they will face the DHK Banik Most team on Saturday, September 24, at 4:00 p.m. The match will be broadcast live on Arena Sport 1.

In the second round of the EHF Champions League, Krim Mercator’s handball players had to concede superiority to the Norwegian Vipers. Despite the help of the home fans (especially) in the second part of the meeting, they could not follow the rhythm dictated by their rivals. In the end, the current European champions were better by six goals, the scoreboard showed 21:27 after 60 minutes of the match. Daria Dmitrieva proved herself again in the blue jersey, this time with eight goals.

Krim Mercator handball players opened their 28th consecutive season in the most elite handball club competition. The excellent play in the first half of the match against CSM Bucuresti was followed by a slightly worse continuation, which was ultimately not enough for the first two points of the season (28:30). The newcomers in the blue jersey, Jovanka Radičević and Daria Dmitrieva, showed their quality, and together they scored more than half of the Ljubljana team’s goals.
