RK Krim OTP Group Mercator opened their 32nd consecutive season in the EHF Champions League with a defeat against CSM București. Despite being severely depleted, Krim produced an excellent first half at Arena Stožice and went into the break leading 19:17, before CSM’s quality and squad depth made the difference in the second half as the visitors eventually won 37:29.
Krim OTP Group Mercator will face Team Esbjerg, CSM București, FTC, Brest Bretagne Handball, Borussia Dortmund, Sola HK and Budućnost in the group stage of the 2026/27 EHF Champions League, which begins on 5/6 September.
