Krim Mercator’s handball players achieved their second consecutive domestic European victory! On Sunday, February 22, in the hall under Rožnik, they overcame Czech Banik Most with a final score of 42:31. The heroes of the victory were Daria Dmitrieva and Jovanka Radičević with nine goals, and Barbara Arenhart and Jovana Risović, who collected a total of 19 saves!

In Hungary, the Krim Mercator failed to extend their winning streak to three. Home team FTC was better with 37:26, and the tigresses will look for new points in the fight for promotion against Banik.

It didn’t work out for the third time in a row. After two important victories among the European handball elite, Krim Mercator’s handball players visited Hungary’s Ferencváros on Saturday, January 14. The hosts, who gained a decisive advantage already in the first half, ended up winning 37:26, thus ending the streak of two consecutive victories of the Tigresses.

Krim Mercator’s handball players entered 2023 through the big door. In the Tivoli Hall, Germany’s Bietigheim outplayed themselves in the first half and in the end were happy with the victory with 35:28, with which they once again jumped to the place that leads to the continuation of the European elite competition.

On Sunday, January 8, the handball players of Krim Mercator returned to the floor of the elite EHF Champions League in an extraordinary way. Defeated Germany’s Bietigheim flawlessly in their home Tivoli Hall with a final score of 35:28 and climbed to sixth place in Group A of the most elite European club competition with two new points.

Krim Mercator’s handball players ended 2022 on the European floor with a great victory! In Brest, France, the hosts won with a final score of 24:22 and thus came within just one point of the sixth place in Group A, which leads to the continuation of the EHF Champions League. Jovanka Radičević was in the best mood with seven goals, and the two goalkeepers once again played an important role. Barbara Arenhart saved five shots for the third European victory, while Jovana Risović saved ten.

In one of the key matches in the fight for promotion to the play-offs of the EHF Champions League, the handball players of Krim Mercator beat French Brest for the second time. The second leg also ended with a score of 24:22.

Krim Mercator’s handball players entered the second part of the group stage of this year’s EHF Champions League with a defeat. In the return meeting with the Danish team Odense Håndbold, especially on the wings of 16 defenses, Barbara Arenhart kept her hopes of a new European point up until the end. But they missed four goals (22:26), just as much as the Tigresses trailed after half of the match (11:15).

In the historic match, in which the outstanding Jovanka Radičević became the best scorer of the most elite European club competition, the Krim women failed to repeat the excellent performance from the first in the second half. Denmark’s Odense won the match of the 7th round of the EHF Champions League with a score of 23:29.
