The first half of the first half at the Stožice was evenly matched. Until the 16th minute, when former Tigress Dragana Cvijić was sent off. Daria Dmitrieva gave the handball players in blue jerseys the lead with two consecutive goals and later the ever-cheerful Tamara Mavsar added her own to increase the lead. By the break, the advantage had grown a bit more.
And it didn’t end there. The excellent performance of Dragan Adžić‘s team continued in the second half, flying on the wings of the home fans and scoring … Goal after goal. The crisis of the Hungarian team was getting deeper by the minute, and the joy of the Tigresses after the end was all the sweeter. It ended with 32:26. And a third consecutive European victory!
Daria Dmitrieva was the top scorer with eight goals, while Tamara Mavsar added seven.
The next European match for the Krim family will be on Sunday, 1 October, at 16:00, when the Tigresses will play at Ikast from Denmark. They return to their home floor on Sunday, 21 October (18:00), when the reigning European champions, Vipers Kristiansanda, come to Hala Tivoli. Tickets are available HERE.
