In the new season, the ball draw assigned Krim’s women’s handball team to Group B alongside Danish Esbjerg, French Metz, Norwegian Vipers (current champion), Romanian Rapid Bucuresti, Hungarian FTC, Polish Lubin, and Danish Ikast. The top handball players will kick off the new European season with matches in the first round scheduled for September 9th and 10th.
“We have received our opponents for the new season of the EHF Champions League, and it seems to me that it will be even more demanding than the previous one, as it includes a third team from the Danish and Hungarian national championships. In our group, we have three teams that played in the final tournament of the most elite European club competition. We are familiar with them, which I believe will be beneficial for us. We have a clear goal, and I am confident that we will be competitive,” summarized the head coach of the Krim team, Dragan Adžić, sharing his thoughts after the draw.
