With loud support from the stands of Ljubljana’s Stožice, the Tigers brought Romanian CS Rapid Bucuresti to their knees with a final score of 29:24 on Sunday, March 19, and are thus one step closer to the quarterfinals of the most elite handball competition on European soil!

Jovanka Radičević and Tjaša Stanko were in the best mood in the blue jersey at Sunday’s match, with seven goals each.
Unfortunately, Krim Mercator’s handball players did not succeed against Vipers Kristiansand for the tenth time in a row. The current European champions were better in the 13th round of the EHF Champions League with a final score of 36:31. Krim Mercator’s handball players achieved their second consecutive domestic European victory! On Sunday, February 22, in the hall under Rožnik, they overcame Czech Banik Most with a final score of 42:31. The heroes of the victory were Daria Dmitrieva and Jovanka Radičević with nine goals, and Barbara Arenhart and Jovana Risović, who collected a total of 19 saves!
It didn’t work out for the third time in a row. After two important victories among the European handball elite, Krim Mercator’s handball players visited Hungary’s Ferencváros on Saturday, January 14. The hosts, who gained a decisive advantage already in the first half, ended up winning 37:26, thus ending the streak of two consecutive victories of the Tigresses.
Krim Mercator’s handball players entered 2023 through the big door. In the Tivoli Hall, Germany’s Bietigheim outplayed themselves in the first half and in the end were happy with the victory with 35:28, with which they once again jumped to the place that leads to the continuation of the European elite competition.
On Sunday, January 8, the handball players of Krim Mercator returned to the floor of the elite EHF Champions League in an extraordinary way. Defeated Germany’s Bietigheim flawlessly in their home Tivoli Hall with a final score of 35:28 and climbed to sixth place in Group A of the most elite European club competition with two new points.
