The position of the right wing will be occupied by Jovanka Radičević

In the 2022/23 season, the ranks of Krim Mercator will be strengthened by experienced right-wing Montenegrin Jovanka Radičević. The best scorer of the Champions League from the 2020 season will move to Ljubljana from Kastamonu, Turkey.

Radičević, who is considered a very focused player and completely dedicated to handball, started her sports career in her hometown Podgorica, later gaining experience in Romania, Hungary and Northern Macedonia. She achieved her greatest success in her career in 2013, when she won the Champions League. In the finals of the strongest European club competition, she also played the season before and in 2017 and 2018 with Macedonian Vardar.

She also has twice the title of the best winger in the world and in Europe, four times she was selected as the best team in the Champions League. She also has Olympic silver and European gold from the same year (2021) and bronze from the Mediterranean Games.

She started gaining experience in the Champions League in the 2005/06 season, scoring 16 goals, in the last two seasons in the Budućnost jersey she pursued 100 (97 and 94 goals for the Montenegrin representative in Europe) and was named the top scorer in the Champions League. One of the three Montenegrins was the most playful against the Hungarians in the jersey of the Turkish champions this season (11 goals), she was accurate nine times in the opening match against the Danes.

The captain of the Montenegrin national team has already played in 182 official matches for her country, and with 1,031 goals she is the most successful scorer of the Montenegrin national team. In 2012, she contributed a large share to winning the title of European Champion and the title of Olympic runner-up. At the World Championships in Denmark (2015) and Japan (2019), she also earned the title of the best right winger of the competition with her outstanding performance. In the opening match of the World Cup in Spain, the Slovenian goal shook seven times – the final victory went to the Slovenians (28:18). Her quality is that she fights all 60 minutes and never gives up, they say in the chosen line, but she says that talent is only a part of the mosaic of a good athlete, the achievement of sports results is influenced by hard work, order and discipline .
