The Stožice Center is the largest and most modern multi-purpose sports facility in Slovenia. It is located in the capital – Ljubljana and is only a few kilometres away from the old town.
The Stožice centre consists of a football field and a hall, which hosts the biggest football, basketball, volleyball and handball spectacles throughout the year. Both facilities can also host major cultural events.
The Stožice Hall seats 12,500 spectators and is recognizable for its special architectural design. The shell design was prepared by architects at the Sadar Vuga Studio and has received numerous design awards for its work. Ljubljana has already hosted several high-profile events in this hall – Fiba EuroBasket 2013, UEFA Futsal Euro 2018 and CEV EuroVolley 2019.
