In one of the key matches in the fight for promotion to the play-offs of the EHF Champions League, the handball players of Krim Mercator beat French Brest for the second time. The second leg also ended with a score of 24:22.
In the historic match, in which the outstanding Jovanka Radičević became the best scorer of the most elite European club competition, the Krim women failed to repeat the excellent performance from the first in the second half. Denmark’s Odense won the match of the 7th round of the EHF Champions League with a score of 23:29.
Krim Mercator’s handball players achieved an important victory before the long international break in the hunt for promotion to the quarterfinals of the EHF Champions League. They beat French Brest with a score of 24:22.
The Tigresses played an excellent first half and competed with their German opponents. In the continuation of the match, however, they fell apart and Bietigheim remains undefeated even after the fifth match.
